I'm 21!!

Been quite busy with lots of Birthday Celebrations, Christmas Dinners, Shopping for Christmas gifts etc etc. n I have not been upating my blog lately.

Though its abit late, but still wana take this opportunity to say a BIG THANK YOU to all my family and friends out there. Every single of you who remembered my Birthday. Really thank you for making my 21st a wonderful and joyous one. All your heart warming wishes from sms/fb/msn and presents you all bought/made are muchly appreciated. I jus feel like a fortunate happy girl to know every single one of you all in my life. THANK YOU! ♥ loves!

HOME SWEET HOME

Im back!! missed mi?? haha.. yep, family trip to 成都/九寨沟/峨眉山. i can say this trip was fantasic. Its more of a sight-seeing holiday than a fun filled trip. The beauty of the place is just unexplainable. How nice if i can migrate up to 九寨沟 and live with those country side peeps. Everything is just so relaxing. 九寨沟 is indeed a 人间天堂 like what the others always say. I have never thought that i could see such beautiful view on earth. every step you take gives a different sight of the place and every view is just mesmorising. though is really cold up there, but its all worth while.

(super bad delay, unable to land at 成都 due to the thick haze. we were stuck at some ulu airport for abt 4hrs++ before we headed back to 成都. half the day is gone :x)

Along the way, the tourguide brought us to alot of industry places or tourism shops to buy tings like cystal, pearls, med oil, etc etc. which all of us hate it, just to make us spend money. the 4 of us were like playing some psychology game with the sellers. with them trying to force us to buy tings and we on the other hand trying to get the lowest price possible just to "entertain" them. we were brought to places not found in the itinery and just realised some in the itinery we were not brought to. n btw, we got a super bad tourguide in chengdu. She's one of the worst tourguide, guess we are better off without one. oh well. But the tourguide in 九寨沟 was superb. he really used all his heart to bring us ard.

UPDATES UPDATES

Time have been not enough ever since after exams. It supposed to be holidays. But back to working life, shouldnt explain more, u guys should know. haha..

Bestie Roan's Retro Rock & Roll PARTY was a huge successful! everyone dressed according to the theme and party through the night. Food was great, western buffet! YUMMY! Music made us high, where most of us groved to the music. Place was great, fully air conditioned & fluffy decorations. HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY BESTIE!! Here are some photos, others are all up in fb (:

Met up darl for lunch and shopping trip ytd at tamp1. & saw this inverted xmas tree. love the year end seasons of xmas, holidays and of cos birthday! oh ya, and we tried frolick. yummy & healthy! a great substitute for sinful icecreams :D

Yep, 7 nov marks the end of exams!! im like super duper happy after 5.30pm. it feels much like a bird being let out of the cage. Didnt care much abt whether i might do well or not for this paper. oh well, i jus know my results sure to drop this sem. the qns is just, drop by how much. keep fingers crossed.

Met up with mum at orchard, for shopping of course. It has been soooo long ever since i feel so good. Felt much lighter, and no more worries for exams for the time being, cos its holidays! Super crowded today at town, guess there was some apec stuff at ion, and the xmas deco lightings are beautifully lightened up tonight. loves year end season (:

Received a call from Bernard on thurs. oh yeah, i'm reporting back to BDP this coming monday! its was such coincidence. on the journey back hm, i was just wondering if im able to get a job this holiday to fill up my pocket. n *blink*, here it is! Guess they are badly short of workers, and im going back to help out in sharon's team (:

Monday's macro paper was a total disaster. Not enough time for that 6 essays to complete, cramped up in a corner of the room with dim warm spot light, mind was nt very flexible at that point. That's it! What's one grade lower than distinction? oh, i guess is credit huh. haha.. oh well. At least i got to know the econs ancestors better now. It was totally like a writing marathon back that day. Friedman, i didnt get to complete your fooling model. New keynesian, i drew your AS curve wrongly. & the calculation qns i should score, ended up in the drain despite getting it right all the time at hm. careless careless careless! roars out loud!

& today's risk management paper. Guess its somehow less demorealising that macro paper. Did have the time to check through the whole paper. Similarly, get to find out many mistakes again! Rembered a formula wrongly, there goes all my values in the derivative market. and SPI fair value, i dont rem seeing you in my notes during that 3 hours, but rang a bell after that. & those 2 marks each mcq, here abit wrong there abit wrong though most is in the practice qns paper. oh well oh well..

10 more days to go...

& lots lots of stuff to look forward to.

Guess this would be my last post till after exams. Time seriously pass too fast, it just seems like ytd being the first lesson of my sem 2. But in fact, tml is the last lesson. and in less than 2 weeks, i will be taking the final exams. Got a strong feeling my HDs will be flying away further from me this time. Everything seems very new to me this sem, no tut done in class, and of course, things getting tougher. Just keep my fingers crossed, target for this sem is at least all Ds.

Ytd went prawning with uni mates. it was fun and had a great sense of satisfactory. Remembering the first time i went, 3 rods, 3 hours, only 1 pathetic catch. and my rod sharing with bro caught none :( At least last nite i got a handfull of prawns after some expertise guidance from the pros. haha. final result: 6 rods with 70 catches (:

Claudette popped by my house just now. and she is always so adorable, wish to capture every movement of hers. She even brought her terapin over to my house to show us.
