IPPUDO sg

time flies, 2 years passed when my family trip to Hokkaido in 2008. It has been one of my favourite places so far!! Sure to go back there again if possible. THUMBS UP! weeks before the trip, Connie recommended me lots of nice food place and things to buy back. & she's also a lover of Jap cruisine like me! & she mentioned abt a ramen place which is a must to go. I managed to find it, but my tour grp didnt plan to have a meal there. so sad, so just took a photo of the shop as our tour bus leaves from there.

The ramen is round the corner of this famous shop which everyone who has been to Hokkaido would know. I rem my family bought 2 huge boxes of stuff from here. teeheee (:

Yep, this is it. the shop at Hokkaido! im sure you misses it too right Connie, if you are reading this. hee

TADAH!! NOW OPEN IN SINGAPORE, Mandarin Gallery!!
Yep, my dinner date with sisters at Ippudo (:
sad to say, the shop has not much sitting area. so we queued for an hour before we get to taste the yummy ramen!

yeah, these are my sweetie sisters (((:
& look at the nice lamp shades. Really nice ambience to eat in

Here comes our food!! we waited like ard 5min only after our orders have been processed. Shocked by the speed! hahaha. Our stomachs were all rumbling during the queue. Guess they heard it. teeheee

Above left: That's mine!! Shiromaru Classic
Above right: that's da jie's! Shiromaru Classic with egg
(she never fails to get a coke & egg for any meal. teeheee )

Above left: that's SisNoi's! Akamaru Modern with egg
Above right: that's SisQin's Akamaru Modern
Dont worry, that's not chilli, its yummy miso paste! (:

There were choices for us on the texture of the ramen, to be softer or harder. All of us choice the default normal ones. & i love it!!! Both soup base were DDDDelicious!

its really hilarious whenever 1 bowl of ramen arrives on the table and the 4 of us uses all our camera to take pictures of the food. I guess the next table must think we're some food critique or crazy bunch of ppl. But guess it has been smth we already use to (:
Food reviews recommended that their rare cheese cake is a MUST TRY! Yes indeed. i was afraid of the milky taste initially. But luckily there wont. Rich taste of cheese and lemon = Yorgurt. the texture is like a curd rather than a cake. so we named it "cheesecurd topped with sweetened chashew nuts"

Though the price is rather steep for a bowl of ramen, ard $15 per bowl. But I'll be back for more, being a jap crusine lover cum soupy noodle lover. teeeeheee. Connie, do go try it if you have not ya! (:

After which, went to ion b4 for mango desserts. their fresh mangoes are as usual super sour, but overall still refreshing.
Love you sisters! XOXO (:
