was home after dinner to watch the national parade at hm as usual. always enjoyed most was the finale, fireworks and the singing part. and this year was special. 8.22pm, a special moment where all singaporeans take the pledge tgt as a nation. the church bells which usually rings every 12noon first of each month, also rang today at 8.22pm. Patriotic us, took the pledge too (:

And did i told you cutie davian was born on the same day as Singapore's Birthday? Yes indeed, aug 9! After the whole show ended, i told my mum "davian sure going to cut his cake now", Cos usually his family and relatives would gather at his house to watch the parade and celebrate his birthday! suddenly i heard "MARILYN JIE JIE!!" shouting from opposite! Davian, the birthday boy, invited me for his cake cutting! Enjoy the photos taken just now (:

Clau loves the chocolate cake! she asked me to eat with her, and we shared. she even requested a second piece (:

and it was time to open davian's presents. and we gave him transformers, optimus prime toy and made him a card. he also received lots of power rangers. we nearly get one of them :x luckily no toys were repeated. everyone knows he love power rangers and transformers.
